Sonorities is coming again this year! Bliss and friends will be playing on 22nd and 24th at Catalyst Arts.
.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.: Upcoming concerts - Poland and USA
My new piece Secrets, sources and spins for percussion and two computers will be premiered during The Electronic Hammer Trio Polish tour in May. They will perform at the Mozg club in Bydgoszcz during the Musica Electronica Nova festival in Wroclaw and during the Audiotong festival in Krakow. In the build-up to this, Exospheres will be performed during the Florida Electroacoustic Music Festival.

Solo Spotlights is a series of hour-long concerts each Tuesday in March in the atmospheric setting of Wapping Hydraulic Power Station, London. Four remarkable solo artists explore new territory for their instruments.
It is a feast for the senses, with design by multimedia artist Julia Bardsley and food from the Wapping Project renowned restaurant. For more information, see www.spnm.org.uk/events

Opalescence and Exospheres have been bought by the Zacheta collection in Szczecin (Poland). These pieces will be promoted and performed during festivals and concerts organized by Society Zacheta.

Opalescence & Exospheres have won awards at the BMW Crash! International Composition Competition.
Both pieces will be performed in Szczecin (Poland) in 2007, recorded on a CD and published.
Henry Vega also had a blast: his piece Idoru in Metals was awarded as well! Congrats!!!

Glowicka is going to write a piece for Jane Chapman for Solo spotlights concert series in London. The concert is going to happen in March 2007.

. : Opalescence is going to have a double premiere. Australian vocal group Halcyon is going to perform it on 27th of September at Trackdown Scoring Stage in Sydney . Romain Bishoffs Dutch group Nederlands Vocaal Laboratorium is performing it as well on that date. What a busy day!
. :More South American exposure. New multichannel piece Exospheres is going to be played in Mexico City during Sonora festival in October. Exact venue to be confirmed.

Opalescence has been shortlisted by SPNM!:
Piece Opalescence has been among 18 selected from over 500 applications. Society will be promoting her music for the next three years. Katarzyna will be invited to London to meet the spnm (Society for the Promotion of New Music) team in October/November.
